DevoTogether is developed and operated by CJ Interactive LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the DevoTogether mobile application ("the App"). We've kept it as clear and jargon-free as we can, because your trust matters to us.
We collect only what we need to run your group's shared devotions, deliver reminders and notifications, and process subscriptions. You can use DevoTogether with an anonymous guest account; we only receive your name and email if you choose to sign in with Google or Apple. DevoTogether shows no ads and does not track you. The table below summarizes the categories of data the App and its service providers may collect.

A note on faith content. DevoTogether is a Bible-devotion app, so the reflections you write may reveal your religious beliefs. We treat this content as private to you and the members of your room. We use it only to provide the shared-devotion features you signed up for — we never use it for advertising, and we never sell it.
We use your account identifier, display name, and content to run the core experience: creating and joining rooms, posting and reading devotion reflections, replies, and reactions, computing whose turn it is in the rotation, and delivering push notifications and reminders. We use your subscription status to unlock premium features for your room.
We use crash and performance data to understand how the App is performing, fix bugs, and improve features over time.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your devotion content for advertising.
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make the App work, each acting on our behalf or as an independent controller for their own documented purposes:
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the App.
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active so your group can keep its devotion history. On the free plan, devotions older than 30 days are hidden from view but are not deleted, so they reappear if the room upgrades to premium.
When you delete your account, we delete your personal account data and remove your authorship from content within a reasonable period, and residual copies are purged from backups shortly afterward. You can delete your account in the app, or by emailing us using the details in Section 10.
Your data is stored on Google's secure infrastructure and is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to data is controlled by server-side security rules so that only members of a room can read that room's content, and only you can change your own account. While no online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information and to respond to any incident.

These rights are provided under laws including the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). To exercise any of them, email us using the details in Section 10. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
DevoTogether is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
DevoTogether does not display ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not share your data with advertising networks.
If this ever changes in a future version, we will update this policy, notify you in the App, and — on iOS — request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before any tracking occurs.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of DevoTogether after an update means you accept the revised policy.
